3 Root Causes Stopping You From Succeeding Online

Start Succeeding Online

Do you believe that one little shift in your thinking can help you to start succeeding online?

Your Foundation To Online Success

Yikes! I do have to admit that internet marketing online has been very overwhelming for me in the last 4 years.

All those marketing messages that are every where have caused a huge mind virus.

3 Root Causes Stopping You From Succeeding Online

1. Is Paralysis Causing You To Get Stuck From Succeeding Online?

If so, you are probably focusing on the wrong things.

Here are 5 questions to ask yourself to figure out why you are not succeeding online.

1. Are you crystal clear on which activities are essential in your online business?

2. Do you believe you have the right balance between what you are learning on one hand and what you are actually taking action on?

3. At the end of the day are you happy with what you have accomplished and the outcome of those accomplishments.

4. Have you taken consistent actions on what you have been learning? (the training you belong to or the courses that you purchased)

5. Are you using the right marketing strategies to build your online business?

3 Root Causes Stopping You From Succeeding Online

If you answered no to any of the above questions then this is a sign that misdirected focus is holding you back and keeping you stuck from succeeding online.

I must say it is so easy to get stuck now a days!

Are you always searching for that magic bullet or purchasing products and services that you are not using?

These are the things that will continually haunt you from succeeding online.

2. Is Upside Down Leverage Causing You To Get Stuck From Succeeding Online?

Upside down leverage is the opposite of getting maximum leverage.

When you are affected with upside down leverage you are getting the least out of everything you do.

Here are 5 questions to ask yourself to figure out why you are not succeeding online.

1. Are you surprised by a big payoff that didn’t require much effort on your part?

2. Have you experienced a piece of content that you put out getting huge results?

3. Are you satisfied with the results you are getting compared to the amount of time you are putting in with your online business?

4. Is there anything that you have done in the past where you are still collecting on today?

5. Do you have a strong online presence?

3 Root Causes Stopping You From Succeeding Online

If you answered no to any of the above questions then this is a sign that misdirected focus is holding you back and keeping you stuck from succeeding online.

This is forcing you to work harder causing you to struggle and fail.

3. Is Unnecessary Complexity Causing You To Get Stuck From Succeeding Online?

I know you truly do want to start succeeding online but this is where you make everything you do more complicated than it needs to be.

If you are the kind of person who thinks that you need to make everything 100% perfect before getting things going.

Then  my suggestion to you would be to take a step back and quit holding yourself to such high standards.

Here are 5 questions to ask yourself to figure out why you are not succeeding online.

1. Has starting your online business been as easy as you thought it was going to be?

2. Have you figured out the fastest, easiest way to reach your goals?

3. At the end of the day do you believe you invested your time wisely because you have done everything possible to start succeeding online?

4. Are you doing the smallest amount of work possible to get your to do list done to reach those goals you have set.

5. Do you start every project with a list of steps to help you accomplish them?

3 Root Causes Stopping You From Succeeding Online

Once again if you answered no to any of the above questions then this is a sign that you have misdirected focus, Yeppers this is what is holding you back and keeping you stuck from succeeding online.

You are putting success and reaching your goals so far out of reach that it is almost impossible for you to start succeeding online.

Even having just 1 of these root causes that I just talked about above will make you work harder and keep you stuck and cause you from not succeeding online.

These all do stem from the mind virus, yes this is the human way.

But the good news is that you can easily overcome these struggles and so you can start succeeding online.

No one purposely wants to make things harder and more complicated they just need guidance and leverage to help them.

    Oh Chery..
I just LOVE your energy and your images … you are absolutely infectious!! All the above can happen you just have to keep going … no matter what. There will always be challenges – and they can be an excellent learning experience. So when things get challenging, surround yourself with people who support you… inspire you, and you’ll be alright…

Hello Lesly, I to LOVE Your energy to my friend! I guess this is why we get along so well HEHE! I can’t wait to get my new internet on Tues so I can get back to attending your Focus Groups. I do think that the first 2 questions are really what all the others are about, Chery.
If you’re crystal clear on what to do, and then you actually do it… you’re well on your way to succeeding. I’d even say, the only way you’ll fail, is if you lose that clarity and/or stop your implementation strategy.
I really like the way you put us to the test! It is… “the root challenge”!

    • says

Hello David, I just love your comments my friend you have such a way with words. My intentions here were not to test you nearly to get you to thinking.. Thanks for sharing, always good to see you here.. Chery :))

  4. says

    Hey Cherry,

Super Post!! I liked the part where you talked about setting too high standards. I am definitely guilty of that. I imagine big things in my head and sometimes I don’t understand that you have to do little things at a time, you can’t start by setting the world alight. At least not immediately.

Perfectionism is another form of self sabotage. You end up doing nothing just because you can’t stand not doing something perfect. I think that the school system condition us a lot in that way. Fear of failure.

    Great post again

    • says

Hello Claude, I know all to well about Perfectionism, when I first got started online I was this person, I thought I had to know everything before I did anything so you know what I did? NOTHING! Yeppers I was paying $149 for training each month and plugging in to everything taking notes and studying but NO ACTION What So Ever! Wow HUH? I did this for 14 months too..

What a waste of time and money Right? Well it was a lesson well learned for me.. An Expensive One At That! Thanks for the reminder LOL Just kidding it is nice to see you and I do hope to see more of you here.

Have an Amazing New Week Ahead.. Chery :))

  5. says

    Chery,

What a thorough list of questions to ponder. The one that struck me today is that I do have some unnecessary complexity. I have created many web sites, some that I no longer need. The problem with that is that if I don’t check the sites out regularly, the plugins get outdated and the site becomes vulnerable. My goal is to eliminate the sites that I no longer need, keep those domains parks if I want to keep them, and consistently check on the ones that I keep live. It’s like doing a thorough house cleaning, only this is a virtual house cleaning.

    Warmly,

    Dr. Erica

    • says

Hello Dr Erika, I just visited a blog the other day that talked about spring cleaning LOL Yeppers this is very important to do HUH? Thanks for sharing my friend.. Chery :))

  6. says

    Hi Chery,

I cannot agree with you more on this. While starting an online business is quite easy, making it roll and more importantly making it successful is the biggest challenge.

Setting proper goals and working towards achieving that my mantra of success here. Thanks for the great post.

    Have an amazing day!

    • says

  8. says

    Hi Chery,
The right mindset always culminates in the right output! Put in other way, the right question deserves the right answers. If the root causes of online failure is identified then it becomes easy to put in the solution that would bring about success.
The questions asked in this post are self searching, and to be honest, if we only can provide related honest answers to them then success online should be easily achieved!

A Snowy Spring Good Morning From Northern Wisconsin Sunday! I love your comment my friend and do agree! If you take each question and get a NO, then go and take action to get the desired result you are looking to achieve.

If you don’t know how, then find someone who can help you. NEVER STOP Until you get a YES!!

Thanks for adding to the conversation here today, I do appreciate it.. Chery :))

WoW … Indeed a very good post. I just stop by on root 2. I found it very interesting and helpful. No doubt, the whole post is packed with full of knowledge. The thing is that, starting a business is easy but to run that business successfully is seriously a difficult task to do. This post is really helpful for people who are in running their own business.

    Keep it up!

    Hey Chery,

I happen to agree with David on this one and love your message too.

If you’re clear on why you’re here and taking those action steps toward succeeding then you’re well on your way. Taking those steps will lead you to where you want to go and although it won’t be overnight you’ll start to see some pretty awesome results which always seems to help light that fire even more. Those are definitely exciting times.

  11. says

    HI Chery

    Another lovely post indeed.

You mentioned total fifteen questions to ask for finding out where the real hurdle lies that is not letting someone to succeed online.

With complete mindset of offline business it is so difficult to make it in online world as well. Here parameters of success are entirely different. Here one needs to work so fast and be practical instead of just holding the work to display in a bid to make it the height of creativity.

Thanks for a very useful post and I don’t think after reading this post one would be faltering in his online struggle.

  12. says

    What a excellent post Chery!

And your questions really get to the heart of things! For sure there are lots of ways to get and
    remain stuck!

Thank goodness, there are people like you out here, that are more than willing to help
    get unstuck!

Provided of course, they’re willing to do what’s necessary, in order to succeed!

    • says

Hello Mark, Well said my friend, yes we can all read these questions, but if a NO Comes Up ( Are you prepared to work to turn it around) Yeppers that is yet another question Huh?

Thank goodness we have people like you to help us as well Mark.. Do enjoy the rest of the week.. Chery :))

  13. says

    Hey Chery,

I do have to say that I can really relate to the first point you made here. There are times where I become stagnant in my business. So I have to figure out what’s holding me back.

That’s when I ask those very 5 questions. As a matter of fact, earlier this year I wrote post about being clear on your goals. I think the best way to overcome these hindering hurdles is to break up your goals into sub goals to overcome 1 hurdle at a time. This may seem like a slow process, but it lays out a strong foundation for progression!

Thanks for sharing Chery and you have a great rest of the week!

    • says

Hello Sherman, Now that is some great advice my friend, I do think it is a great idea to make some mini goals so to say to hit that big one.. Thanks for adding to the conversation, Chery :))

  14. says

    Hi Chery,

Oh boy I got an A on the test! I do firmly believe that one must have clarity in the business and never get distracted nor fall off the track. We have to be constantly learning, apply what we have learned and share it with others.

I always visualize my business as a train on a track. Sometimes I get a red light and have to make a stop, sometimes I’m chugging along in a snow storm that will slow me down, but never ever will I get off that track.

    Love ya gal

    -Donna

    • says

Hello Donna! Looks like Congrats are in order my friend! HEHE Just kidding I knew you would pass with flying colors. A++ I bet.. Thanks & Love You TOO Girl Friend it is always so nice to see you here… Chery :))

  15. says

Do have a wonderful weekend! :)

I also believe that information overload is a huge issue, we are so overwhelmed by what is out there. The trick is to find one thing that you can do and really enjoy doing and nurture that! Great post!

  19. says

Your advice makes sense. I wonder how many people are getting bogged down in one of your three things to avoid. Simplicity is my favorite. It’s underrated.

  20. says

I find that this usually stems from the individual. That’s always #1. It’s when someone stops having that drive to be creative and wanting to find a new and resourceful way to succeed.

Thanks for sharing this with us. :)
