How I Developed A Successful Mindset!

A Successful Mindset

Over the past few years I have learned that having a successful mindset is something that is important for our overall success, without this chances are you will never accomplish anything.

How I Developed A Successful Mindset!

All A Successful Mindset Is, “A feeling that you have where you know that you have no limits.”

When You Finally Believe In What You Are Doing!

 You Believe In Yourself!

You have the power within you to accomplish anything you put your mind to.

Yes this will seep into everything you do if you truly believe in yourself.

You should never start anything if you do not have a successful mindset in place because chances are without this you will quit before you even get started.

You need to have that mindset first.

Getting A Successful Mindset

  • Find A Mentor
  • Hang Around Others Who Have A Successful Mindset- People Who Are Making It Happen.
  • Don’t Try To Change Immediately! You need to understand how the mind works.
  • Why are you the way you are? Do you have limiting beliefs? Remember you need to believe in yourself to get this successful mindset!
  • Quit Being A Pessimist!

Getting A Successful Mindset Is A Process And It Does Takes Time

Start to watch for signs about what you are pessimistic about, realize what they are then find out where this came from and rethink the process.

Now get rid of this thought and replace it with a new thought.

How I Developed A Successful Mindset!

Visualize what your ideal life would look like.

Take some time each day before you go to bed at night ( This is when your mind is most receptive) then while you are sleeping  you will come up with this successful mindset.

Morning is also a good time to visualize your ideal life, this is magical, your subconscious mind is amazing!

If you truly want different results in your life you need to start to program things differently.

These are your dominant thoughts, you want to become very conscious about what you are thinking, feeling and visualizing.

I really never understand this concept and mostly just went about doing things on auto pilot.

You want to really tune in to what is going on within you.

Negative talk will kill your dreams, so become aware of what you think about all day long.

If you are constantly beating yourself up you need to pay attention to this and stand outside yourself so to say!

When you hear yourself saying something negative, snap this out of your mind and reprogram your thinking to one more positive.

This Is The Ideal Situation To A Successful Mindset!

I did come into this business thinking I could do anything, then at some point my negative thinking took over.

But since I learned this lesson and I am no longer critical about the negative stuff and therefore I am more comfortable helping others.

This is what I was meant to do.

Yes I built a new relationship with myself, when I started realizing the things that I was saying to myself, it was then I knew what I wanted to do.

Sending Some Positives Out In The World!

One of the most valuable things you can do for others is show some appreciation in business and in life.

Developing A Successful Mindset Begins With You!

Thanks for sharing this Chery, over the years I’ve come to see how important mindset is, and how it makes a difference to you and your business. Like you I’m no longer critical of the negative stuff, but I’ve found that it takes time to get into that position.

Hello Sarah, I do agree that it does all take time, the probelm I had is that I really didnt know I needed to work on my mindest! I guess this is why I decided to write this artcile.. Thanks for sharing my friend.. Chery :))

We are so addicted to negative views of ourselves and rarely give ourselves a break and consider we are ‘good enough’. It’s good to have a simple mantra to pull yourself through that curve when the negative thoughts threaten to drive us down.

    • says

Hello David, We do live in a negative world that’s for sure. All we need to do is turn on the TV or radio to realize this one. Mindset is something we do need to work on.. Thanks for your comment and visit.. Chery :))

This is a subject that when someone is down about their business, I really look to see how they are even outside of their business. More than likely their mindset is focused on failing instead of coming up with a plan… and a lot of times it leaks into other areas of their life. For me, I give them the harsh reality that they need to wake up and choose to be positive, and then act upon being positive by making plans and goals to achieve, rather than wallow in failure.

    Great advice as usualy Chery!

    Hi Chery,

Oh boy..did I ever work on having a successful mindset! I came from a place where I had to work so hard to get my self esteem kicking in long ago.

When it came to having a successful mindset, I did work hard at it. First it was affirmations, visual movies in my mind. But then that “negative voice” which I call my “critic” kept popping up. Realizing it was part of that good old subconscious mind of mine, I had to take some serious measures. Hypnotism, Well that worked for a while. But I had to really dig in, understand, and hired a coach to go to each week to fight this battle of the brain.

In short, now when I get that critic in my mind saying “you can’t” I put up an imaginary international NO symbol in my head and think the opposite: “I CAN”

This does take some time and sometimes the battle is a little stronger, but once accomplished, it is freedom!

Thanks for bringing up this topic. It is one that many have and needs to be recognized.

Hello Donna, Wowsy, the mind is a Crazy thing HUH? I know it was hard for me as well at first, but as you have stated there ares o many tools that we can use. such as affirmations and visual video’s! I think the most important thing is to just do it and then make it part of your daily training.. Mindset training..

HUM Sounds Funny saying it that way.. Thanks for adding to the conversation here today my friend! I do appreciate YOU!! Chery :))

    Hi Chery,

Thanks for sharing what it took for you to get to this place where you had a successful mindset. It really is a process, I’ve been working on mine for years.

It took me quite some time before I understood how all of this really does work and looking back I had been attracting things into my life without even realizing it. I think once I evaluated how that actually happened is when I started to see the power that the mind really does have.

So whether it’s attracting a great partner or a successful life in general, it all has to do with the things we think about and all the stuff we’ve thought for so many years doesn’t just disappear over night.

It can be changed though and we all can have what we truly desire if we work at it. It’s a beautiful thing too.

Thanks for sharing this with us Chery and hope you’re having a wonderful week.

Hello Adrienne! It is something how we get stuck in that moe of actually not thinking about what we want or are even doing for that matter. I do agree it does all have to do with what we think about! I am sure we have all heard that saying before “What we think about we bring about Right?

I did just get home a little while ago, I was visitng my sons for the weekend and then extended my visit a few days to attend school wth my grandson, now it is time to get back to work LOL

Thanks for your comment and visit, I do appreciate it, enjoy the rest of your week my friend.. Chery :))

    Hi Chery,
That was motivational! Staying positive and ignoring the negatives is the basis of successful mindset.

It may be challenging pursuing dreams and goals but a positive mindset will keep the “motivation flame” burning!

Looking up to mentors, avoiding discouraging relationships, rewarding myself for disciplined good behaviors, and embracing purity in spirituality are ways I employ to motivate myself!

Yes, a successful mindset begins with me, and I totally agree with you!

    Hi Chery,

Development of a successful mindset takes a lot of time. You need to understand about your own mind as whats right and whats wrong in your opinion. Many things are necessary to learn.
I like the steps you have provided as to choose any mentor, stop being a pessimist and more. For sure it will help many people who want to create their successful mindset.
    Thanks for writing this article.

Hello Ravi. Yes indeed my friend developing a successful mindset will not happen over night and as you have stated it is going to be different for each of us. We all have different values and passions Right?

I have included the steps I took and do hope that they will direct others in the right direction as well.. Thanks for your comment and visit, I do appreciate it.. Chery :))

  10. says

    Hi Chery,

    Lovely post indeed :)

I know it certainly isn’t easy to have a positive mindset, not always at least, and each one of us have had our share of feeling low or thinking negative, and some even quit for these very reasons. But nothing works this ways, unless you give yourself a push forward. It’s like they say – it’s always in the mind, and it IS! One positive thought can change things, isn’t it?

Yes, it’s not easy I know that but we need to train ourselves to be happy, stay positive, look for visualization techniques that work, and find our bit of sunshine…that’s just how it works :)

Thanks for sharing. Have a nice weekend, and Happy Halloween :)

    • says

Hello Harleena, Well said my friend! Living in a positive is very difficult with so many negatives all around us all the time.. Yikes You cannot even turn on the radio any more with out hearing some kind of bad news.. It is no wonder there is so much negativity in this world..

I do agree we do need to train ourselves to be happy, yes it can be done, but does take effort..

Thanks for your comment and visit!! Wishing you a Happy Halloween and a Great Weekend as well!! Chery :))

  11. says

Well said Chery! Each of your points is spot on – the only thing I would add is for any meaningful change to take place people need to be committed. As you say, it will take time so if someone comes to the process with the thinking that they’ll just “give it a try” then chances are pretty slim that they’ll hang in for the long haul. As I always ask myself whenever I undertake a new project – “How Bad Do You Want This?!” Thanks for the inspiration Chery. :-)

    • says

Hello Marty, This is great advice my friend, it is definitely something we all need to work on. To make the decision then make that commitment, Thanks for adding to the conversation here today, always so nice to have you here.. Chery :))

Great tips for developing a successful mindset. It i so true that this does not happen over night it takes time, determination and practice. I like it where you talk about finding a mentor and hanging around people who are making it happen- so very powerful. Thanks for the share.

    • says

Hello Siphosith, I do believe finding the right people to hang around with has a lot to do with mindset. If you are constantly surrounded by people who are fired up about their life and business it is bound to rub off on you vs the opposite that’s for sure.

Thanks for your comment and visit, do enjoy your weekend my friend.. Chery :))

  13. says

Hi Chery, I worked hard on developing a positive attitude about life but I’ve been thinking a lot about this lately in relation to success. I’ve got to the stage where I can be happy with what I have and that’s wonderful because life, despite some ongoing problems that close family members have, is really good.

The only one thing that worries me is future financial security for all of us as I’m the sole breadwinner. I don’t think I truly believe that I can be really successful with my online business.I’m stubborn though so not giving up and one of the things I enjoy the most is sending out positives to others to encourage and motivate. I tend to do that via social media but love how you do it here on your blog.

    • says

Hello Sue, It is all about mindset my friend! You can do be have anything once you put your mind to it! You are stubborn? Well then use that as well as your positives to make things happen.. You can do it, I know you can. You just need to get out of your own way.. Oh Yeh Together we are going to make this happen..

Thanks for adding to the conversation, I do appreciate YOU!! Chery :))

  14. says

    Great point Chery! :)

I’ve been doing some mindful meditation training recently. (Stop, Think, Breathe app or site is handy)

I clear my head, breath deeply (practicing this the whole day, even when working) + visualizing (like you said) = better positivity. Work never seems to end but it doesn’t affect me negatively anymore LOL

It’s definitely very easy to develop a negative outlook in life. I still get those because of really bad days.

    • says

Hello Dennis!! Mindset is everything my friend! It does also have to do with belief! Do You Seriously believe YOU Deserve All YOU CAN BE?

I do believe you do.. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work.. Chery :))

  15. says

You know it is true.. You need to visualise being a winner before you even start an online endeavour.. visualise your way to success all the answers are coming.
You might just not see it yet.

  16. says

    Hi Chery,

Great points on developing a successful mindset. I agree with you, without believing in what you set out to do you can’t accomplish your goals.

If you believe in what you’re doing you put your heart into it and go the extra mile to accomplish it.
I usually visualize the ideal outcomes I want from my efforts which keeps me motivated. This also helps keep out the negative mindset.

Thanks for sharing this. Helps maintain the focus and motivational too.
Discovered the post on Kingged btw.

    Best regards,

Hello Norbert! Oh Yeh Belief is HUGE! If you don’t believe in what you are doing how do you expect others to Right? Thanks for your comment and visit, I do appreciate it.. Chery :))

  17. says

You’ve put the emphasis in the right place here, Chery… on your mindset.

Many of my students get very good results with the things I teach them, but others just don’t. The difference is almost always mindset. Those who spend time on programming their brain to expect success, and then put into motion those things that can lead to success… those students always achieve higher.

And it’s not surprising. When you expect to succeed, you will implement the things that will help you because you know the results you can achieve when you do. If you expect failure, even if you have the tools you need to succeed, you won’t implement them consistently because you expect them to lead you nowhere, but failure. Why would anyone want to invest their time and money into something they expect to end in failure? Answer: they won’t, they don’t, and when they fail they reinforce their failure mindset by saying “See, I knew it wouldn’t work.”

Mindset is a major part of your business, but it doesn’t just happen. You’ve got to work on it diligently and daily. You’ve set us on the right course here, Chery, and I hope a lot of folks follow through on your suggestions.

    • says

Hello David, Your students are Very Lucky to have you as their coach and mentor and should pay attention when you speak. This all makes so much sense, for sure it does take hard work but if you want it badly enough, you will do everything in your power to make it happen.. And Yes it does all start with Mindset!!

Thanks for adding to the conversation here today, always nice to see you here.. Chery :))

  18. says

It’s important to believe you are a winner before you become one… you need too have the vision in your head and see that vision.. breathe that vision….BECOME that vision.. mindset is everything.

  19. says

    Great article Chery!

I like to remember to be positively positive in everything that I do – there are certain personal situations that are like hitting my head against a brick wall, but in spite of it all, I am seen as being the happy and optimistic one among all I know. It takes effort and conscious awareness to remain in this mindset but is so worth it :)

    Thank you for sharing.

    Hi Chery,

You said, “Yes I built a new relationship with myself, when I started realizing the things that I was saying to myself”

How different would our lives be if we could see the guy or gal in the mirror as our new best friend rather than our worst enemy? What will I dislike in myself five years from now if I don’t change it today? That’s what I need to change today, in order not to give that task to my future self!

I know I need to develop a new relationship with myself, so as to bring my life into alignment with my true desires.

I love your work on the successful mindset!! Totally agree with you too.
Love the question “why are we the way we are?” It can seem like thinking of our “negative” beliefs as “bad things” that we don’t want in our lives… but the truth is that even these negative beliefs have a purpose that is self-serving. The point is, as you say, to get out of auto-pilot and analyze how what we believe is holding us back and make changes accordingly.

Thank you for sharing your wisdom.

    • says

Hello Virgina, It is my pleasure to share my friend! There certainly is a lot of negative things that go through our minds HUH?
