Don’t go blaming anyone else if things are not going the way you had planned, that is the easy way.

The way that most people do live their lives, they go to work put in their time then come home and complain about how bad things are.

They put all the blame on not taking responsibility onto someone else.

But Then What Do They Do?

At this point I am simplifying my online connections, clearing out my inbox as quickly as I can, deleting lots of marketing messages and unsubscribing. My focus is to get my 30 Day Love Challenge ready to begin promoting it in July. It is really exciting for me to focus on this project I have been wanting to do for quite awhile.

    Hi Chery,

There is nothing like take responsibility in life.
For the most part unsuccessful people always have something or someone to blame, but when you stop doing that, you find it so, so empowering and if you’re doing the right things, you start soaring!

    Thanks for sharing.

Good Morning Time Sylviane! Well said my Friend! Thank you so much for adding to the conversation here today! I do appreciate it. Have an Awesome New Week ahead.. Chery :))

    Hi Chery,

Taking responsibility for our lives is healthy! The blame game, what ifs, I cant’s not only will stop you from business, but also from living life to it’s fullest.

When it comes to business it is a necessary component. We are responsible and each day we work wisely. For me, its a rush lol.

Having my own business off line and online for so many years is natural for me. Responsibility is to our clients and we need to do something every day to keep that going.

Good Morning Donna, Well Said My Friend, Everyday is a new day and one where we need to be responsible and yes work wisely. Thre are only so many hours in a day Right?

Thanks for adding to the conversation Donna, I do appreciate YOU! Make it An Amazing New Day.. Chery :))

Hi Chery, I agree if we don’t take responsibility no one is going to do it for us. We have to develop, learn and grow to make our lives what we want them to be. Taking those steps aren’t always easy, but necessary. Thanks for your insight.

    • says

Hello BG, So True Right? Someone can show you the steps to take or should I say guide you in the right direction, but without Action on your part NOTHING gets accomplished. Of course it is not going to be easy, if it was everyone would be doing it.

Great Comment, Thanks for sharing my friend. Chery :))

    Hi Chery,

Great post!!!! It’s an epidemic in our society. Too many are too busy blaming something or someone instead of taking responsibility for their choices and the consequences that come with me.

It’s okay to face adversity and challenges. We have to stop this societal issue where everything has to be scripted and look perfect.

In the challenging times we have an opportunity when we get real with ourselves to evaluate, refine or change what we are doing so that we can get what we want. But, if someone is holding on and won’t let go and is making excuses or blaming others they will never succeed.

I’ve gotten to the point when I hear someone who is self defensive to the point they won’t hear anything; I stop what I’m doing and end my relationship with them. This person is not teachable.

Being teachable is the key to success.

Great post Chery. I appreciate your message!!!

    Hi Chery!

    Well said in this post!

You have to take full responsibility of everything that happens in your life! … that is the bottom line!

And yeah, you are very right, most people blame other things, outside of themselves, instead of blaming themselves. And doing that only hurts them even more!

    For example;

In this industry, people often blame the company and products, so what do they do? … they go and search for a new company and new products to sell. And this goes on and on – for as long as they keep blaming the company and product for why they are not finding success!

Now, if they realize that the ones to actually blame, are themselves – they will have very different outcomes. In this case, they will have to make a change within.

And this is what happens a lot with average people. They blame external things, so they look to change those external things. But, in reality, the real change never happens and the same results will continue to come.

The moment you blame yourself, you will have to change yourself – and that is when the real change comes!

Because when you blame yourself for the results you are getting, you will have to change yourself in order to get different results! 😉

    Great topic and post Chery!

    Have a great week! 😀

  9. says

    Hey Chery,

Fantastic post girl! Yes, we must take responsibility for our own financial freedom!! No one else can do it for us. We must stay on the path and not quit and eventually we will find that freedom :) I know sometimes it seems like we will never get there, but once we do it will be awesome. I know it will be well worth all of the hoops I had to jump through that is for sure lol

    Thanks for sharing my friend!

A cliche I know but: “The definition of insanity is repeating the same mistakes over and over again and expecting different results”. Insanity is used in broad terms here because it happens regularly in people who are otherwise sane.

As you say, regularly giving up and blaming external circumstances is an example. So too is continuing with the same activities that you’re just not suited to. If you continue trying, and learning, then you’ll find your strengths and be able to work on any weaknesses.

    • says

Hello Sue, Well said my friend, Someone just asked me what the The Secret WAS?? –>> MY ANSWER! NEVER QUIT! I guess this is what you are talking about here as well Huh? Thanks for sharing my friend. I do apppreciate you… Chery :))

  11. says

    Hi Chery

Exactly right what you say. When you’re self-employed “the buck stops here” – having been self-employed for 30+ years, with just a brief interlude (now finished) of part-time employment, I would be too scared to trust my entire income to ONE employer!

I like the freedom of self-employment, however I do miss the technical support we had when I worked for someone else. At the moment I’m beset by technical problems that are taking me forever to (not) fix!

Which actually is a reason why in future I might be moving more along the lines you’ve moved, although not DSD – which I know is an excellent program. Glad you’re doing so well with it. I have heard good things from other DSD distributors too.

    • says

Hello Joy, I do know that there can be a lot of challenges in when working for yourself and do love the fact that I am part of an awesome team with DSD! Having a someone or should I say many team mates to turn to when I have a question or when I am just stuck is so important.

I do wish you the best in what ever you do, Thanks for sharing… Chery :))

  12. says

    Excellent post, Chery.

Achievement and freedom are all about responsibility.

Many people don’t like being told to be responsible because they think it’s a burden. Now they’ve got to take control of their lives and make things happen.

I don’t see it as a burden, though. I see it as a blessing. When you have the ability to respond (the ”respond-ability”) to your circumstances, you will always be free. Those who are enslaved by themselves, others or circumstances, are those who have had that ability taken away or have willingly surrendered it. They are the ones who are now locked into the prison of whatever circumstances they happen to be in.

What a great gift it is to have the ability and the power to change that. Now, it only requires the will.

    • says

Hello David! Great word! Respond-ability!How we respond certainly is what taking responsibility is all about Right?
I loved your comment, it is always so nice to see you here. Thanks. Chery :))

  13. says

    Hi Chery,
we sure are responsible for our life and
nobody is to blame . If I start something and see it is not for me
or I do not do the work ,I can not blame the program or the teacher.
I like Don’s comment about being not teachable :)
    he is right .
Thank you this is a good post

    • says

Hello Erika, Yeppers we do need to take responsibility and this does not to place blame elsewhere..
Great comment my friend, Thank YOU for sharing, I do apprecaite it.. Chery :))

  14. says

The very best advice Chery, to take responsibility… for everything in our lives, not just business.

We are the sum of all our choices, and if we are discontented, then it is up to us to instigate the change that we feel we need, and not lay the blame with others or circumstances.

It is in the making, learning and doing of these, often tough decisions, that we grow and progress through life and business… and the rewards are so motivating when the responsibility kicks in :)

    Good one !!

  15. says

    Amen to this message Chery!

I used to know and yes that’s past tense, several people who used to blame their circumstances on others and never take responsibility of their own lives. Granted, some things just happened that were out of our control just like with you being escorted out the door after 25 years of service due to cutbacks. It had nothing to do with your performance I’m sure because most companies are all about the bottom line and nothing more.

It’s up to us to do something about it though. You can’t sit back and gripe and complain and expect things to happen. If people want to continue going after job after job after job then that’s totally up to them but I would hope they would be tired of depending on someone else and realize that they can bring in their own income on their own terms.

I know you’re the person that can definitely help them and again more living proof that this does and can work.

Bravo my friend, great job and keep on sharing your results with your readers because I’m sure you’ve got several of them on the verge of signing up with you too. They’re just scared to take that plunge.

Have a great week and talk soon.

    • says

Hello Adrienne, You hit the nail on the head my friend, Yes I have so many people that I talk to each day and they say they want to change yet they don’t take action. CRAZY! It doesn’t get any easier or cheaper then this? A $19.95 monthly investment could help turn their lives around and of course they will have my help as well as the whole team.. The whole company for that matter..

Oh well I can only share, the rest is up to them. I cannot do it for them. Right? Thank YOU So much for your wonderful comment, of course I wouldn’t expect anything different from you LOL

Have a Great Day! Chery :))

  16. says

The difference between you and a lot of other people who have lost their jobs, is that you chose to believe there was a better way instead of just letting life happen to you.

I find myself in the position health-wise where it’s hard to start anywhere because so many things are wrong. But it is not too late to turn things around, as long as I start somewhere. Baby steps are not over-rated. Baby steps are what IS turning things around for me now, and my health is better than it was a couple of months ago.

Choosing to believe there is a better way, and taking baby steps until bigger steps can be taken — that’s taking responsibility, and that’s what turns things around in our favour.

Wooo Hooo Willena, I love your comment my friend! Belief and Baby Steps. YOU GO GIRL! I am right by your side rooting for you.. Thanks for sharing.. Chery :))
