Let me give you my example of a call to action.

“If you are sick and tired of a the BS, tired of spending your hard earned money on every shiny object that comes along go ahead and click here and schedule an appointment to speak with me.

Stop the spending before it is to late, I am here to support you asking nothing in return for my time.

Be sure to list the problems and then create content on how you can help and give them a call to action.

This is called education marketing, now go and publish this on multiple channels.

    Hey Chery,

Making your promotions about your audience and not yourself is key! You definitely want to know what they want and what they’re struggling with. Be that soul provider of solutions that’s going to help them progress and you’ll find that everything will balance out! Great share and you have a great week!

    Hi Chery,

I do promote what I do. As you probably know, I have my own product and have been promoting it. Love what I’m doing with new folks coming in. There is now where else I want to be. Plus, the more I do, the more I’m creating. Yes, I do tell my followers and friends because some will need to join me in this venture.

As long as we are not pushy, and can offer value to another, we can promote what we do effectively.

So speaking of, I think you’ve raised a great subject here and for many years i was a victim of such mistake until I started relating with people who are well higher than I am and being a fast learner, I learned quickly the importance of promoting oneself.

So that is to see I am well in the know about this subject neither was I oblivious about it. All this nice share and i am convinced that this will help our brothers and sisters who are not yet in the know about it.

Thanks so much for share ma’am and I will be sure to join more groups and forums and will keep to your advice of “participating”.

What a GREAT topic Chery! I especially like your advice to make it about them. I had a direct sales company as a client for a time and in my role as a trainer I would shadow these entrepreneurs at meetings with prospective new recruits. Time and again I saw people talk and talk (and talk) about their great opportunity while the poor prospect sat their looking shell shocked, and not surprisingly 9 times out of 10 they didn’t sign up. Hopefully your readers will take your excellent advice to heart!

    • says

Your photos add a great personal touch, Chery, and help us feel we know you better. Your tips are spot on. I think the hardest part is finding the people who have the problems and needs that you can solve, so you can be more efficient in your promotion.

    • says

Hello Sue, I am getting braver LOL I have never been one to like my picture taken now I am taking pictures and doing video’s OH BOY! It does go to show you that anything is possible.. I am not sure finding people to work with is a problem though my friend, they will find you if you know how to market.. Right? Thanks for the wonderful comment.. Chery :))

    • says

Hi Chery. I’ve got to agree with Sue that your photos really add a personal touch to your post and make your personality show through! I thought they were also a great way to underscore your writing content and help “promote” you and your business essentially…If only I could be so brave!

What you say about knowing your clients/audience and how you can solve their problems really makes promotion sound so easy. Brilliant advice! I’ll remember that the next time I get a little nervous about “promoting myself” and focus on problem solving instead.

Thanks for all of the great tips!

P.S. Your CommentLuv was not working when I left this comment.

I gues just like anything my friend all it takes is practice..

Thanks for adding to the conversation here today.. Chery :))

I feel its the way you promote and what exactly are you promoting that can engage the visitor towards your products/services or any other stuff. Promotion is a vital part of an sales and marketing campaign which helps in building the sellers perspective. Thanks for sharing these good pointers Chery!

  10. says

The most important point you make here, Chery, is to keep it simple. People need to take action and get things moving. A body in motion tends to stay in motion.

If you complicate things, you’ll likely never take any action. You’ll get overwhelmed by the many moving parts in the process of promoting your product.

I’m really glad you mentioned the value of forum engagement. It’s a little understood method that people unfortunately overlook. It doesn’t look as shiny as other methods, it involves real time and effort and the gurus give it little ink. But it’s a powerful technique, it’s free, and it’s well worth the time spent. Thanks for pointing it out.

    • says

Hello David, You made some gret points as well, so important to Keep It Simple HUH?? Thanks for adding to the conversation, I do appreciate it.. Chery :))

  11. says

Chery, You have made some excellent suggestions in your post. I have several products and services that I offer and I agree that when you provide something which can help your audience find a solution to their problems and then provide education on how you can help them it is the best way to market. I have not done any videos yet but that is something I want to try to implement in the near future. Thanks for all the tips!

    • says

    Chery, great post

Promoting yourself is important and identifying the pain points and how you can help is so important.

Also identifying your ideal customer so that you can target your message to the right groups of people.

and there are lots of people on the Internet!
