Success Is Knowing Your Purpose In Life- Part 1

Your Purpose In Life?

Do You Know Your Purpose In Life?

Part 1 What Is Your Purpose In Life?

I know this is hard to take in but most of us have no clue what we want to do with our lives.  “Your Purpose In Life” Right?

We say when I grow up I want to be just like ??

Ok now let’s get serious here, now more than ever we as online entrepreneurs are starting to rediscover ourselves looking for that success.

We start to think about things like what can I do with my time that is important to me?

Take some time, really step back and take a deep look inside your life and see how you can position yourself to go down a new path for success.

Think about what is important to you and what can add more meaning to your life.

Find Your Purpose In Life!

The choices that you do make today will play a critical role in the outcome for the rest of your life.

The greatest gift you have in this world is to make the decision, the decision to figure out what your purpose in life is.

Who Are You? What Is Your Purpose In Life?

Now let’s talk about your identity.

Part 1 What Is Your Purpose In Life?

You have your ID of course and this is tells who you are, right?

But you still have to know who you are exactly and to prove it at any given time. What is unique about you, what is your purpose in life?

To many people choose the path of seeking riches instead of seeking their purpose.

Your purpose in life will attract profits, so get your identity in tact before anything else. You owe it to yourself and your loved ones to figure out who you are today not 5-10 years from now.

Your Purpose In Life Is Where Your Guarantee To Success Lies

Of course there are no guarantees, but your purpose in life is one that will always require your ID.

What I mean by this is people are always going to test you to make sure you are authentic in life. As soon as you say “I am going to XYZ and nothing is going to stop me” you will now have a set destination to get to.

Now talking about destinations, the other half of your purpose in life is your vision.

It is one thing in life to know who you are, but it is also important to know where you are going.

Every great success story started with a vision.

This vision has to be one that makes you a little afraid and makes you get out of your comfort zone. Most of the time in life we all look for shortcuts or we want to take the shortest route.

It is Ok to want to reach your purpose in life as quickly as possible but it is another thing to just rush right on in, get the education that is needed to help you along in your journey to discover your purpose in life.

Patience is the cousin to vision, so you must be patient for your vision to come to past.

If you are willing to discipline yourself in your purpose in life and create a vision for yourself then there is no limit to the amount of abundance in your life.

The first key to maxing out your purpose in life is to establish these two things to ensure your foundation is solid.

A tree would never stand tall without its roots, its foundation.

Just like the seed that was originally planted for this tree, it takes on self control and discipline to grow its full capacity.

This same seed is in each and every one of us which is your vision, your purpose in life!

In my next post I will share more key points to help you live the life you deserve and maximize your purpose in life.

I hope I was able to help you get on track with your purpose in life, please go ahead and leave me any idea’s you have below with your comment.
As always thanks for visiting my blog!

Thanks for a great post Chery. Without knowing our purpose we can never be authentic as we will always be taking someone else’s purpose. and we are always tossed here and there. Once we do the homework then we are grounded and we have a sense of direction. I like the way you put it using the seed and the tree.

Hello Siphosith, Yikes don’t I know it. When I first got online I had NO Idea what I wanted or who I was. MY first mentor told me to model her.. MODEL HER She was a 6 figure earner and was educated.. ME WELL I had A LOT to learn… HEHE Yes homework.. Thanks for the AWESOME Comment.. Chery :))

    Hi Chery,

I think we are on the same wavelength today. I had written something similar lol.

Indeed, It all starts with our “vision” Once we have clarity on that, we can build upon it.

I like your analogy about the tree. ‘A tree would never stand tall without its roots, its foundation.” Now that takes patience. Once we have clarity on our vision, we do need patience to grow.

    Love this message!

Hello Donna, I did just hop on over and read your article, it does seem we were on the same wavelength HUH? Purpose, Clarity and vision OH YEH So easy yet so hard to figure it al out Right? I love how you mentioned meditation, this is something I truly need to do more of.

    What a great post Chery!

And I really like the way you made that important distinction between
our identity and our life’s purpose!

And the other great point you made about our purpose attracts profits! That’s certainly good to know!

Thanks for sharing an inspiring post!

Hello Mark, So happy you did indeed get some value here from my post! It is so important to know WHO you are and WHAT you have to offer the world HUH? Thanks for adding to the conversation here tonight my friend.. Chery :))

    Hi Chery,

I totally agree. We’re off chasing after those things which we think will bring us the success we want when it has to start with who we are to pull it off. Neglecting that point for trying to chase others’ dreams will keep us at a standstill. Though your service has to be about your clients, you have to also serve yourself with what you can do best and will still to in order to help others. Great points here. Looking forward to your next post.

  6. says

    Hi Chery,

You’ve raised some good points here, and I think they are the type of questions that you continually have to ask yourself in order to re-evaluate where you’re at.

Sometimes we know our vision but we have to wait until the time is right before we can execute the plan. Sure we can prepare, but we still have to wait. I knew I wanted to leave my ‘day job’ but I had to set a time-frame for the future…I couldn’t just leave there and then. Now I’m fulfilling my purpose…commenting on blogs, no, only kidding…I mean running my online business!

    Looking forward to part 2…
    – David

    • says

Hello David, Sometimes we dont have a choice though, like myself I was let go of my job and really have the choice to keep my day job! I could not wait until the time was right I had to make the decision to go a different direction and that was online.

Yet I had no idea what this was all about nor did I fully understand what my passion was at the time.

It has all been quite the learning experience to fulfill my purpose, commenting on blogs hehe yes I got it..

Thanks for adding to the conversation, I do appreciate it… Chery :))

  7. says

Hi Chery! Always a pleasure to read your blog posts :) This is really inspiring and I totally agree with you. There are so many lost souls out there who live every day without any purpose unfortunately. I can’t wait for your part 2!

Thanks for your comment and visit. see you next week.. Chery :))

Hello Merle, I would love to share my little trick about how I go about my images. HEHE We really do need to get together one of these days my friend. Thanks for adding to the conversation, it is nice to see you here… Chery :))

  8. says

    Hi Chery ,
you say it very good .
Looking only for things which promise you success does not work .
We have to look inside ,what is our passion and what do we really like.
If we love what we do and are ambitious about ,success will follow.
    Thank you

  9. says

    Hi, Chery,

Boy, what an important topic for discussion, so glad you brought this up.

Having a solid foundation in knowing yourself and your purpose in life is so critically important to one’s happiness and fulfillment.

Mine is based on my faith. I’m so clear-cut sure about what my purpose is, and so that spills out through to my online business as well.

So very true about the tree analogy, Chery – roots are everything. We don’t see them, but that’s what’s holding us up for sure.

I’m thankful for a loving supportive family who props me up as well as I live out my purpose in my personal life and business.

Thanks for sharing this thought-provoking post, very timely indeed.

    Have a great weekend.

Chery your this post has motivated me.

In life, we definitely need to have a purpose.

We need to work hard for making our dreams come true as achieving our goals will definitely make us happy.

A person who is not having any purpose may not know what he needs to do in his life.

Chery I hope to read the other parts related to ‘Purpose of Life’ soon.

Purpose is like the wind beneath the wings… and you have outlined the reasons for us to give thought to finding ours through thought and vision.
Moving in the direction of our purpose is the way to success and being truly ourselves. I love your ‘Patience is the cousin to vision’ and we must use patience to see our path ahead, fuelled by our purpose.
We are all individuals, and it is so worth taking time to get this right, like the roots of a tree :)
    Looking forward to part 2!

    Hi Chery,

A very insightful post today. There is quite a difference between your ID and your purpose. Sometimes I still wonder what my purpose is but until I know for sure, I will keep writing and helping people and learning all I can about this great big internet world.

    Thanks for sharing.

Back when I was a teenager, my peers talked about going to “find themselves”, and I thought it was silly. Why should it be such a big deal? Yet I found myself in the same position in recent years, because I let life and others cloud my vision and get in the way of what I knew many years ago I was here to do.

    • says

  15. says

    Hi Chery,

Inspirational as usual. I really got out some motivating insights from this piece. Examples include:
“Your purpose in life will attract profits, so get your identity in tact before anything else. ”
” Every great success story started with a vision. This vision has to be one that makes you a little afraid and makes you get out of your comfort zone”
“Patience is the cousin to vision, so you must be patient for your vision to come to past.”
“A tree would never stand tall without its roots, its foundation.Just like the seed that was originally planted for this tree, it takes on self control and discipline to grow its full capacity.”

Great insights, great thoughts, great words! What more do we need to be guided to a life of purpose!

  17. says

    Hi Chery,
This is really a serious topic that no one usually speaks about and I really liked the way you put it in light voice yet still making an impact so it can make anyone think of evaluating the purpose of their life and the meaning of success.
It’s sad that a lot of people don’t have a clue about what to do with their life. Thanks for guiding and helping those souls. :)

Hello Anant, Some people really don’t want to know what their purpose in life is nor do they even care. Weird but true! I am happy though that you did indeed get some value out of my post here today sounds to me like you are on the right track.. Thanks for your commnet and visit.. Chery :))

Everyone of us has his own purpose in life and all we just have to do is define it. I also think that you can really say you are truly successful if you already have known your real purpose in life and that you already have fulfilled it.

Anyway, thanks Chery for making me think deeply today.

    Have a great day ahead!

  19. says

    Hi Chery,

I’m so pleased to have landed on your blog, after reading your post on Kingged. This post has caught my eye since I had previously written a post on my blog about understanding the purpose of life.
I think the reason why one needs to know what his/her purpose of life is on earth is to know and acknowledge the truth, love and learn more while developing within the circles of creativity. In turn, this brings wisdom, joy and enables one to gain strength. While you find your way through life, of utmost importance is to practice acts of compersion.

    Thanks!
