The key is to keep it simple and to take consistent action.

Planting Seeds For Success In Your Online Business

You have to be planting new seeds each day and in time your online business is going to grow.

Your strategy for success, is to plant a seed, plant another seed, plant another seed and it will keep producing for you.

The thing is you can cut any of those plants off at any time with just a touch; you simply go in, redo it and plant it again.

You are in control of your strategy for success.

Just get yourself going. These will build over time because your first post is still producing, then the next one and then the next.

Eventually you will get the combined reaction from these pots.

Connecting With Others Must Be Part Of Your Strategy For Success

Do you actually talk to people?

This is really up to you, what you feel is appropriate for your own strategy for success.

But I think it is professional, if someone was posting a legitimate ad for their online business and I answered this, I would expect to receive a message or even a call in a timely manner.

Think about this, when you first applied for your first job, you were anxious to here back from them, Right?

The same goes here if you want to have a successful online business.

The phone is an appropriate method, it is professional.

Use the phone and use it to your advantage.

Remember you placed that post for your strategy for success, so reach out to this person, get their number and give that prospect a call while you are still fresh on their mind otherwise you will have to explain everything and this is wasted time for you.

These Strategy For Success Tips Are Pretty Simple

Place three or four posts a day, do this five times a week, go ahead and take the weekends off if you want, this is totally up to you.

Keep going along in this manner for forty five days and I bet you your strategy for success will start paying off.

I do suggest you do mix up your posts up a little and test and measure your results.

I encourage you to use an excel spreadsheet or even a piece of paper.

What kind of post was it? Affirmation? Inspirational? A Question? ECT..

What time of day did you post?

Did your post get any likes?

Did it get any comments?

Did You comment on anything?

You can track and measure this way, keep on posting and keep track of what you change and how this is working for you.

You may find that one kind of post does better than another.

Then you can concentrate on this one a little more.

Think of it like this…

Remember those lego’s when you were a kid, the different colors, how they all fit together to get the results you were looking for (a plane, a house, whatever) same goes for your posts, each piece of the puzzle will give you results.

Your goal for your strategy for success is to keep getting those post out there and test and measure how they are working for you.

Find what works best for you and keep it at a steady pace and your strategy for success will work.

    Chery, bright and cheerful attitude!

My feeling are the same. That is, with your insight as to keep doing something. We have to be consistent and enthusiastic about what we choose to do. You made all valid points.

Always, reading comments, leave a solid reply reflecting your perception. Keeping respect for the author. The more you share other’s usable information. The more you become attractive to us all.

Thank you Chery, for being so nurturing.

    Hey Chery,
The game of strategy in business is an open one. Those who play it well are sure to achieve success while this may not be the same for those who don’t play it well.

Step-by-step action plan for every activity done in business leads to the creation of a system or strategy. Without clear strategy it becomes difficult to (even) take key decisions.

One thing we must always thrive to do is to take that ‘little action’ each day. This will bring us closer to the achievements we have set in online business.

I left the above comment in kingged.com as well.

    Hey Chery,

Spot on advice girl, love it.

Add value and keep adding value darn it. Help people, start conversations, inspire, motivate and keep doing it darn it.

We all have to remember that it’s not about us, it’s always about them. People are selfish and they want help. Be that person and they’ll follow you to the ends of the earth. They’ll get curious about you and then they can’t help themselves but to find out more about you, how you’re having success and most want to be a part of that.

It’s just a smart way to build your business and to me the only way to succeed.

Great advice my dear and I’m off to share this one with my friends so just in case they need more help they can come check out what you share.

    Bravo and enjoy your day.

    Great advice as usual Chery!

And I like how you pointed out, that just like any tools in
either our garage and or trunk, unless we know
how to use them, they are basically worthless!

And you also so offered some great advice, that early on, I wish I had
heeded, with regards to studying the different aspects on successful online marketing!

Which is, master or get extremely competent in your subject of study first,
before you bunny hop to the next subject!

That incredibly simple, yet extremely practical advice, had I bothered to really
apply it, would have served me incredibly well!LOL!

Thanks for sharing some extremely practical advice!

Hello Mark, I do speak from experience my friend! I to thought I needed to know everything about everything before taking action!! And where did it get me? NO WHERE’S!! Yikes seems so simple now HUH? Thanks for sharing my friend. Chery :))

    Spot on Chery!

Give Give and Give some more! Get out there and get going each and every day. Nothing will ever come to you if you don’t put your best foot forward. Sound overwhelming? No…. All we need is a system. Get out there and read and share others’ stuff. Simple as that.

After a while, good communication will come and even friendships. When we put this into action, people will follow.

    -Donna

    • says

Well said Donna, I do believe this is how we met HUH? Nothing happens by itself, it is up to each of us to get out there and YES GIVE GIVE AND GIVE!! Awesome comment my friend!

Love this – “If you are taking consistent actions each day you will start getting results!” It’s so very true, but many bloggers (most!) quit or lose enthusiasm before the magic happens. I swear – blog every day if you’re serious. It works. I’ve done it.

    • says

Hello Bill, I did join a challenge a few years back and blogged everyday, Yikes I almost lost my mind? HEhE Just kidding but it was a lot of work. I guess the important thing is to just do it! Right? Thanks for the great comment.. Chery :))

  7. says

Hi Chery, a very valid and informative post.

Although I am relatively new to this, I have a schedule I stick too, whether it be writing blog posts, driving traffic, visiting other’s blogs etc. It keeps me on track.

I now concentrate on learning one new thing at a time to stop the overwhelm and it is working.

Take action, give great value and be yourself everyday. Success will surely follow.

    Thanks for sharing.

  8. says

Hi Chery, I’m here to plant a seed and to check on the seeds I’ve planted here before. After all seeds need nurturing. It’s not a matter of just sticking them in the ground and hoping they’ll grow.

When you comment regularly on a blog like yours, it’s not a chore but a pleasure. It’s no longer just a way of getting yourself known, or getting backlinks and eyes on your own posts. As Donna says it’s about building friendships.

  9. says

    Hi Chery,

You’re so right. It’s easy to get overwhelmed with new tools to the extent of never actually getting round to using them on a consistent basis.

I hope that by now I have all my tools in place, and finally found the business that suits my budget and time available, so next stage – that I’m working on – is the strategy side of the business.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, Joy

    • says

Hello Joy. Awesome girl I am happy to see that you have finally found a business that suits you. This is great news. I will be keeping my eye on you LOL Thanks for sharing mt friend! Chery :))

    Hi Chery,
Great post I did like the seed analogy being a gardener. Plant those seeds!

Keep it simple with consistent action and have a game plan.
I liked the phone is an appropriate method it is professional so call when you are fresh in their mind.
Three or so posts a day. 5 times a week. Yes I do take weekends
    off sometimes.

    • says

Hello Kathryn, I do try NOT to take weekends off But sometimes I just have internet so I really dont have much choice.. LOL Happy to see that you liked my post. Thanks for your visit and of course for your Awesome Comment! Chery :))

  11. says

I couldn’t have agreed more Chery,
For you to achieve anything with your blog, you need to have a very good plan and strategy in place.

And like you mentioned, its wise to focus on one method of marketing at a time and after you’ve mastered it, you can now go ahead and try another method. But the problem with most of us it that we usually want to try every method at once and thereby mastering none.

    Thanks for sharing.

    • says

Well said Theodore. Been there done that my friend HEHE Actually when I first got started online I thought I needed to know everything before even implementing anything Yikes was I wrong. Thanks for sharing my friend! Chery :))

  12. says

    Hi Chery,

Nice title, got me curious and drew me in for a read.

I think your advice of taking on one form of marketing and mastering it is pretty sound advice. Personally I rather be great in one marketing avenue then dabble at multiple marketing platforms and essentially go nowhere on any.

Dabbling is such a waste of creative juices, don’t you think?

Setting aside a fixed time each day to leave comments on a few Blogs you like is a great idea. I do this every day, 6 days a week, (often on the 7th day as well) and it has worked wonders driving traffic to my Blogsites.

Ah! talking to people. Honestly, I think that is a dying art (if not dead already).

Our daughter Chriselle, WhatsApp me for the next room and I reply via WhatsApp. We have spent days not really speaking to each other, BUT engaged on SMS, WhatsApp, Facebook and Email.

Heck we Email each other from adjoining rooms. I think the next step is Skype video call, room-to-room.

I’d love to have a really animated, exciting, verbal conversation with someone, it’s a terrific way to build trust between two people. Great for business.

Great advice, about putting your head down and posting three / four times a day, five days a week for at least 45 days. I do this six times a week and it’s brought me a ton of great friendships and a decent monthly business income. I can vouch that this approach works.

Like you I track what I’ve posted, the amount of engagement each Blog post brought me and other Google statistics is a spread sheet, just to figure out what is giving me the results I want and what’s not.

Great post Chery. Thanks for sharing this on Kingged. Enjoyed the read.

Yeppers from experience.. Dabbling is A Waste of Time OF Creative Juices!! I actually thought I had to learn everything before taking any action at all. And do you know what happened?

    ✿ Hi, Chery,

I really like your catchy title – certainly grabbed my attention! LOL Yes, I couldn’t agree more! We definitely need a strategy, that’s for sure…

Absolutely, our tool box is oh so important. I like your advice to learn one thing before moving on to the next. That’s what’s missing these days, FOCUS!

There are so many people (I used to be one of them) that dodge all over the place, running helter skelter trying to do a zillion things at once, and nothing gets learned well, much less mastering an area to become proficient in it. You are spot on!

‘Find what works best for you’ <— wise words, Chery – and I agree because if we do more of what’s working and ditch the things that aren’t, we’re going to make a whole lot of progress.

    Spreading the word…

Hope you Have a good evening.

Hello Carol, I too used to be one of those PEOPLE!! LOL Yeppers I was ALL OVER THE PLACE! Doing A lot and accomplishing NOTHING!

I have learned to master one thing and then move to the next. Also to track everything. Oh so important.
      Thanks for your Awesome Comment
      Chery :))

Learning to play the marketing game is crucial for any business that wants to grow and make more money. Like you said, one of the best ways to learn is to dive in and take action. Learn what works and what doesn’t work, and move forward, learning from mistakes and testing. You can also learn from other people who are successful marketers. Follow influencers in your field and just learn from their work. Everyone has a strategy that they use fr success and you can find out what they do to be success a lot of the time by just following them. Learn what they post on their social media and other tactics. Also connecting with people is a great method to learn and gain exposure.

  16. says

Very helpful Chery, I especially like the idea of a 45 day challenge to keep track of what your doing. Things change and something that worked yesterday might not work tomorrow . However you do need to know how it worked before deciding if it needs to change.
    Enjoyable read.

  17. says

    Hi, Chery!

Awesome! Your points are great, and I completely agree. It’s all about helping folks and adding value, most definitely.

Thinking of others is the key, absolutely! I’ve had the mantra since the beginning of my business, to try to treat others the way I want to be treated. We we give without expecting anything in return, it’s a win-win for all concerned.

I’ve gained friends, very close friends by following this. What a blessing.

Thanks for sharing this, Chery, I really appreciate it.

    Spreading the word…

Hello Carol, I just wish this was something I learned from the beginning LOL Oh Well as they say better late then never! Correct. Thanks for adding to the conversation here today, always so nice to see you here.. Chery :))

    Hi Cheri ,
It’s like planting seeds ,water and nourish them
and take care of the plants .Sounds like farming
does’nt it ? it like the law of a farm ,start seeding
and be consistent and you will harvest.
    Very nice post
