How To Write Powerful And Persuasive Affirmations

Affirmations Are Powerful And Persuasive!

    Are You Familiar With Them?

Imprint Powerful Affirmations In to Your Subconscious/ Mind Movie

They are your desires made into statements that you read or say to yourself out loud. Affirmations are just a simple mind technique that can help you reach your goals.

The goal with powerful and persuasive affirmations is to truly believe with all your heart that what you are saying to be true. Now you have to repeat this statement over and over again, day in day out until it makes an imprint on your subconscious mind.

I wrote an article Grab The Magic Power Of Your Subconscious Mind last week, if you missed it, click here and be sure to read it, then come back here to learn how to go about writing powerful and persuasive affirmations

Now when this happens, your subconscious mind will sense a difference between what it sees as being real and transform this way of thinking into your world. This is a way to start building up your self confidence!

If you are using powerful and persuasive affirmations the right way magical things will start happening for you, new doors and opportunities will open up everywhere in order to make that affirmation a reality.

4 Ways To Use Powerful And Persuasive Affirmations The Right Way

1. Keep Your Powerful And Persuasive Affirmations Personal

What I mean is to use words like “I” and “My” in each affirmation. For example, a proper affirmation would be I am a successful online entrepreneur, not; You are going to become successful….

2. Keep Your Affirmations Positive

Here is the right way to state your powerful and persuasive affirmations: I am Successful I grow and seek help with everything I do. A negative, and thus unproductive affirmation would be, I don’t need help becoming successful.

You see – although the subconscious is a powerful tool, it is still rather simple.

It sees what you are saying as images rather than words… so it can’t understand words like “don’t” and “can’t.”

When you say, I don’t need help, your subconscious mind brings up an IMAGE of you not becoming successful, and you actually begin to strengthen the actions that you are trying to change!

3. Your Powerful And Persuasive Affirmations Must Be In The Present

Now most people think their affirmations need to be in a future text like in this example, I will be successful in my online business. But this isn’t the case.

Think about this for a minute if you write your powerful and persuasive affirmations in a future text then there is no pressure within your subconscious mind and nothing is going to change.

But when you change the same affirmation to the present text, I am successful in my online business, you create the pressure needed and your subconscious goes to work.

4. Be Specific With Your Powerful And Persuasive Affirmations

You should be very clear about the end result you are looking for, and you should be as specific as possible. Avoid general statements. For example, don’t say I will not procrastinate, but rather, I will finish this report in an hour.

These are the right ways to use your powerful and persuasive affirmations to get the results you want in your life, so take the time and write them out, then start repeating them like I said earlier in the post.

MOST Effective Time Of Day To Use Your Powerful And Persuasive Affirmations

The most effective time of day to use your affirmations are to make this the first thought in the morning and the last thought at night.

What you want to do is have your list of affirmations handy, how about on the night stand next to your bed.

This way they will be handy when you go to bed as well as when you wake up to read them over, (out load of course) also make sure to read them a few times.

How To Write Powerful And Persuasive Affirmations

Make this become part of your daily routine, do it faithfully and truly believe what you are saying t be true.

You really need to sit down in a quiet spot and take your time and determine what is it that you want to achieve.

You are using positive and persuasive affirmations to help you reach your goals.

One last thought, go ahead and listen to music that calms and relaxes you while repeating your powerful and persuasive affirmations.

When you are calm and peaceful, you will get a better effect on your mind when using these affirmations and because of this the subconscious is more likely to believe in them.

In the end, remember it is a great thing to use affirmations to help you in making positive changes in your life, but without action, you won’t get very far.

So follow your good intentions with action.

If you do not have a plan in place to help you follow those good intentions and you don’t know the steps to help you get there.

You’re not alone.

    Hi Chery,

Amazing article, but still I need to read it 3-4 times to completely grab the topic. Over my mind! ha ha!

However, you did a wonderful job to tell us how to write powerful persuasive affirmation.

  2. says

    Great reminder Chery.

This is one of those things I do not do enough of. I don’t do it on a regular basis.

From time to time I’ll get out a notebook and write by affirmations by hand. But I seem to only do it for a couple days, week at the most, and then my notebook gets lonely for far too long.

Being specific is a big key, can make a big difference. I’ve always been a believe in the law of attraction, as I’ve proven it works, but you need to ask and you have to be specific.

    Thanks for sharing :)

Great step by step instructions Chery!

You really offered some solid and extremely doable action steps!

And you’ve made it clear, that in order to truly have success with your
particular strategy, it needs to be followed daily, not every now and then!

Thank s so much for sharing exactly “what” it takes!

    • says

Hello Mark, So true my friend, Success doesnt come easily and it surely wont come if you poke at it every now and again HUH?
great advice Mark! Thanks for adding to the conversation, I do appreciate it.. Chery :))

Affirmations are extremely powerful for some people. I think it depends on your underlying beliefs. If you believe they work, they do and if you don’t, they don’t.

It is sort of one of those Universal Laws!

But having a real powerful step by step way to create believable affirmations can undoubtedly tap into the power of our mind to believe.

    Great job

Hello Mary, Well said my friend! I do believe this is something we need to work on Right? Not like we were all taught about affirming in school???? Thanks for the great reminder. Chery :))

    ✿ Hi, Chery,

You know, I’ve been a little lax in my positive affirmations lately, and I really needed this reminder.

Yes, I do have a regular meditation time in the morning where I do count my blessings, but have been a bit overwhelmed lately, and cutting it a little short. However, the blessings have not been ‘short’ – just my acknowledgement of them has… LOL

Love your advice to keep it personal. I need to do this on a daily basis.

I do a ‘brain dump’ before bed each night so that I don’t lie there thinking of this thing or that thing that I have to do tomorrow. Now, I will incorporate a “blessing counting” time as well. Awesome!

Thanks for this wonderful encouragement, Chery, so apt for me today.

    Ciao Ciao,
    Carol Amato

Hello Carol! What a great idea A ‘brain dump’ Now how does one go about this? LOL I do hate it when I work in my sleep, this sounds so wonderful.

Happy to see you loved my advice my friend! This is why we share HUH? Thanks for your Awesome comment.
Always so nice to see you here.

    Hi Chery!

    Great positive post here!

Your tips are spot on. I have been studying how all of this works for a long time. And now I know a lot of great knowledge on how these affirmations work with the Law of Attraction.

The reason why you want to say your affirmations in the presence sense, is because you want, what most call, the divine field of energy, to match your energy.

What makes your affirmations a reality is actually your Feelings. Energy is what manifests things into a reality in your life. And what is the most powerful organ you have, that produces tremendous energy? … You heart!! <3

When you say these affirmations, in the present sense, you start to get emotional, and start to feel as if you are already Successful, Healthy, Wealthy, etc. – So, this divine energy field (that connects everything in this universe), tries to MATCH that feeling.

And you start to see things aligning in your life, to manifest your affirmations. This is a very simple concept, but so so powerful! :)

I love studying these things. I'm studying Quantum Physics now, and it has given me tremendous knowledge and understanding of how everything works in this life and universe!

The feelings we have, is the language we have to communicate with God. And people should realize, that the Feeling is the real prayer – not the words! :)

I can talk on this all day! lol

    Anyways, great topic, Chery!

Thanks for sharing this very positive post!

    Keep up the great work!

Have a fantastic, and productive week! 😀

    Hi Chery

There is so much benefit in speaking powerful and persuasive affirmations. When we speak on and on , our thoughts begin to align with our words which makes us take action and this is also why I agree with you about making a present text.

I love the tips you shared and I think that this a great reminder for me because I have been depriving my subconscious mind of affirmations.

Thanks for sharing. Thumbs up Chery for this awesome post.

I used to keep a book of affirmations by my bed when I was having a hard time about 12 years ago. I’d read some the very first thing on waking up. Do this enough and they become a part of your normal thinking.

I have to go back for reminders now and again but only for short term issues and they work quickly.

  9. says

    Hi Chery,

Such a great article and I do agree that you have to emphasize the words “I and am” in the present tense. Sometimes people just don’t realize they are their own worst enemy and with negative thoughts, it’s like a snowball rolling and getting bigger and bigger. You/We have the power to change our way of thinking.

Just as anything worthwhile, we have to do it and work at it.

    Have a great weekend.

    Hi Chery,

Interesting and informative post, indeed! :)

You really bring a good topic for discussion. Yes, everyone would want to change their life to become better than before.

As you might expect, I was also doing positive affirmations on myself. Since I want to achieve something in my life. One thing that lacking is I still do affirmations by using the word “will”. I thought I should change it immediately. :)

Thanks for sharing this with us, Chery.
I sincerely hope you have a great weekend!

    Hi Chery ,
Great post and it is true affirmations are very good
to stay positive and stay on track. You are right ,
they have to be in the present tense ,to be more powerful.
I had a young friend ,when she had something in mind ,she put them all over the
places where she lived and worked and it worked good for her.
I think this is a great post for many to learn how to use affirmations.
    Thank you

Excellent post, Chery! Personal, positive, present, and specific. Yes, yes, yes, and yes! If you have a self-talk that’s short enough (say around 25-30 words), you can memorize and say it hundreds of times a day, whenever you’re doing things that don’t take a lot of focused attention. Thank you for sharing.

  15. says

I also believe in the power of self-affirmations and saying them every morning to help boost confidence and desire. We can make many things become a habit through conscious thinking and doing until you unconsciously start to do them. I believe through affirmations you can also make desire and positive thinking a habit as well. I really like what you said, that you should use personal words like I and me. This was a great post, thanks for sharing.
