Your Daily Method Of Operation Is Your Guide To Success

Do You Have A Daily Method Of Operation?

If you are struggling or dealing with circumstances that you cannot get past right now. This is OK!

Because once you hit the bottom the only way to go is up.

Your Daily Method Of Operation Is Your Guide To Success

The more you push yourself into the discomfort zone the better you will become and this all has to do with your daily method operation.

Yep, this was me I was struggling for a long time then I just hit rock bottom.

Then I decided I was going to commit to becoming a Success Coach.

Someone who supports others for life. I was sick of telling or should I say inviting others to do what I was doing!

Why?

Because this is what the rest of the world is doing and it doesn’t work.

Oh Sure there are those few who make it, but I want everyone to become successful.

I know I have a lot to offer and I have finally found a way.

I knew the old way wasn’t me.

Believe me if you are not doing what you love and not as successful in your life right now, it is OK!

Your current circumstances are not you!

You just need to make a few adjustments.

You can reach your goals but you will need to work on your daily method of operation if you are going to turn your life around.

Turn Your Life Around With Your Daily Method Of Operation

You do need to realize of course that you will not have over night success and that you will make mistakes along the way.

Your Daily Method Of Operation Is Your Guide To Success

But you just take those as lessons and keep moving forward and this is done by putting together your daily method of operation.

The first thing you need to figure out is how many hours a day you are going work your business.

Time is not your enemy, efficiency is your friend.

It is not because you lack time, it is that you lack efficiency of the time you do have.

Yes you can build your business with as little as a few hours a day, but you do need to work your business as a business and not a hobby.

Let’s cover the definition on business here for a minute, a business is not a feeling!

Nope not an emotion! A business is solving a problem and filling a need.

Your Daily Method Of Operation Must Include Active Prospecting

Active prospecting includes communicating with others in a one on one fashion.

This is done by connecting with another person, reaching out and starting a conversation.

It is easy all you do is start talking and find out their needs and then help them to find a solution.

I can almost guarantee if you start connecting with 5-10 new people everyday you will become successful with what ever you choose to do.

In your daily method of operation make sure you schedule time to check your e-mails as well as social media sites, you can waste a lot of time if you don’t pay attention to this.

If you are serious about reaching your goals and changing your life and impacting people from all over the world then take the next few days before you work on your daily method of operation and do what you normally do.

Yes but this time you are going to log what you are doing.

Be honest with yourself about this, no one needs to see this but you OK!

Seriously do this, write down every time you check your e-mail, every time you check your skype, facebook, log everything.

Now once you figure this out STOP!

You need to understand there is a cost to create your daily method of operation so keep it reasonable.

Including Exercise In Your Daily Method Of Operation Is Mandatory

Yes your daily method of operation needs to include some sort of exercise, you don’t need to run a marathon just 15 to 30 minutes everyday will do.

Your Daily Method Of Operation Is Your Guide To Success

Exercise will help to keep you focused and will make you feel better about yourself and you will also have more energy.

When you look in the mirror you will just feel better about yourself, so be sure to add exercise into your daily method of operation.

Lastly you need to add some sort of daily mindset training into your daily method of operation, also try to fit in marketing training at least once a week.

And we all know that we have to produce some sort of content into our daily method of operation, Right?

So Do you have your own wesbite?

If not click here and learn how you can get the whole internet package for only $10 a month!

Oh Yeh grab your branded domain name, if you need help with this be sure to connect with me and together we will figure out what is best for your situation.

Now I challenge you to keep yourself accountable to setting up and following through with you daily method of operation.

Well said Chery! One of my all time favorite personal growth books is Today Matters by John Maxwell – and the title says it all. Life is always going to be a balancing act – as important as it is to have a direction and a purpose in life, it’s what we do everyday that is going to get us there. Thanks for this very inspirational article!

These are absolutely great points Chery. If we do not have a daily method of operation that works for us we will quickly be drawn to every little distraction around us. If on the other hand we have a focus and things we want to accomplish each day we will have a “guide to success’ that propels us forward in our business. Thank you for sharing.

    Hi Cherry,

Well written piece on Daily Method Of Operation! This should be a guiding principle for any blogger that wants to bring CHANGE in person and in business! However, operating perfectly in daily method should be a function of a desired end.

f the present level of activities is not giving a blogger what he wants then it becomes important to make a change even if it means getting uncomfortable!

I have shared this comment in kingged.com where this post was found and “kingged” for its value to Internet marketers.

Hello Sunday!! I do agree sometimes we do need to get out of our comfort zone if we want to make things happen. I for one hated to have my picture taken, I didnt think I was photo-genic, well now I am getting in front the the camera all the time, Are you Kidding Me??

Oh Yeh this one took a lot for me to do, but the more I do this the more comfortable I am becoming and someday I plan on becoming a speaker and sharing my story with others..

Oh Yeh I have been asked but have not taken the plunge as of yet, but it is coming.. LOL We just need to add this to our DMO and make it work for us..

Thank You so much for adding to the conversation today, I do appreciate it.. Chery :))

    Hi Chery,

Your post was the first I found in kingged, so hope I’m doing this right!!

It’s a good idea to log your time. I did this using one of the free time management tools you can find online and it was quite scary to see how much time was “wasted” on email. So that gave me an immediate goal to focus on reducing. (Although having said that, a lot of my work comes via email, so it’s not 100% waste.)

Exercise I have to work on!

    Joy

    • says

Hello and Welcome to my Joy! I do have to agree with you on this one, when I logged what I was doing for a few days I to was shocked to see how much time I was wasting, not only on e-mails but social media and skype too.. Yes we do need to check out e-mails, as well as show up on our SM Sites but we need to put this into our schedule so we know exactly what and when we do are going to do things HUH?

    Hi Chery,

I really like your content and feel a lot of synergy. Your comment “A business is solving a problem and filling a need” is so spot on I could just jump out of my skin. YEA! Someone who gets it.

The question I came away with is this: Are you working your business or is your business working you?

So many many are toiling but have no idea why or that they don’t even need to. In Michael Gerber’s book, EMyth Mastery, he shares that the need to feel needed is so powerful that business owners get in their own way, become less productive and even less interested in efficiency because they exist to serve their business instead of the busienss serving them.

I look forward to sharing out your article across my social media. I appreciate well written content!

    Thank you,

    Hi Chery,

A very motivating and inspirational post. Some good tips and ideas. We all have to create a DMO that works for us. Thanks for the encouragement to all.

    Have a great day, Monna

    • says

Hello Monna, Yeppers we all need to find a way to make things work for us HUH?? Thanks for adding to the conversation here today.. Hope to see you Friday.. Chery :))

  10. says

    Hi Chery,

I do have a DMO! And all that you mention here is so true! Once you set it up and most importantly follow it to a T…more things can be accomplished in one day than ever before. I had done this in the past, and now, with more business on my plate, I had to refine it.
I do feel the most important part of it all is take time out to exercise or just stop and smell the roses. It’s funny, but the more work on my plate I have, the more free time I create. Creating a DMO leads to better focus, increase in productivity and not getting overwhelmed.

    I love this topic!

    -Donna

    • says

Hello Donna! This is also a topic that I love mainly because without a DMO you have nowhere to go. You are more or less just out there winging it so to say and not really treatining your business like a business..

It is amazing how we can add more and have more time simply by getting a game plan together HUH? Thanks for adding tot he conversation here today, I do appreciate you my friend.. Chery :))

  11. says

    Hi Chery,
you are sharing very helpful tips!

Yes, just doing something is a great way to start.
When I have been committed to even just 15 min towards doing something for a blog post each day it often turned out to be more like an hour.

Thank you so much for sharing your expertise.

    Love and Light!

Hello Yorinda, I am so happy that you did indeed get some value here from my tips and think they are helpful.. Oh yeh I have had to learn things the hard way and I do not want anyone to have to fillow in my footsteps! So Yes Indeed DO SOMETHING ANYTHING But make sure you get a game plan Yeppers Your DMO!! Thanks for adding to the conversation today. always good to see you here my friend.. Chery :))

  12. says

I cannot argue with what you’re advocating here Chery!

Keeping track of your irreplaceable time is critical. I’ve often heard people that give proven financial advice, suggest the same sort of thing.

They suggest you track every penny you spend within a 30 day period! And your eyes will be open to how and where your non essential buying dollars go.

So without a doubt, you’ve got to develop asap some type of proven DMO! Well said and thanks for the blueprint!

    • says

Hello and Welcome to my blog Mark, I love this idea to track every penny, I do think this is something both of my boys need to take on LOL They both have great jobs yet never have any money.. I thought I taught them better. perhaps the exercise will help..

Thanks for stopping by and for the Awesome Comment, I do hope to see more of you here.. Chery :))

  13. says

    Hey Chery,

It’s been a while since I been on your blog. Having a DMO and being consistent with it will benefit you as time progress.

I do have to admit that I myself fell of my DMO and have suffered from it. But just one day , I made up my mind, and start putting in work. From that I start seeing results from it.

From that point on, just from that experience, I started to learn how to work smarter and not harder. You start to figure out how to put more in with less time, getting the same results if not more! I believe that’s the goal when you are consistent with your DMO. In the end you gain from it!

Thanks for sharing Chery! Have a great weekend!

    • says

Hello Sherman, Yes it has been a while since you were last here HUH? So you didnt even mention the changes LOL

I think it takes all of us time to figure out what works best for us HUH? It has taken me a long time to figure out that it is so much easier with a game plan to get things done.. Oh yes constistency is Key..

Thanks for the wonderful comment and the visit to my blog as well.. Hope to see more of you here. Chery :))

Hello Chery….Great article…..The points you make about our Daily Method of operation, really help keep a person focused and attentive to their business when applied daily……..I am probably the worlds biggest procrastinator there is…….but if I can apply the points you make here I would develop a routine to get into the “groove” so to speak….Thanks Chery…..Smokey

  15. says

Hi Chery. WOW! This is a whole new place! It’s always great to see people moving forward with their life’s purpose.

I totally agree with you on on having a daily plan. It is so easy to get overwhelmed and let the really important things slip by. I have my list of 5-7 things that have to be done each day, and unless something really big comes up, I try to finish that list. Thanks for sharing your ideas.

    All the best,
    Leslie

Hello Leslie! Wowsy HUH It seems this blog here is always a work in progress.. LOL I also took Carlos’s advice and have my list of set in place.. OH YEH! What would we do without lists HUH?? Thanks for sharing, always so nice to see you here,, Talk Soon.. Chery :))

    • says

Hello Leslie! It seems like this blog here is always a work in progress LOL I love Carlos’s advice of keeping that list, this is something that I to have implemetned into my DMO! Thanks for the wonderful comment and vist, always so nice to see you my friend.. Chery :))

  16. says

    Chery,
My daily method of operation has needed an overhaul. I get started doing something and get sidetracked by upcoming webinars. And then I sign up for some new product or service.
Most of the time it is part of my personal training and is helpful for achieving my goals.
But I have not set up specific times to do some nitty gritty, but boring task, like making sure to have blog broadcasts for my different web sites and lists, adding new autoresponder messages especially for my new lists, organizing the new ebook I plan to write.

So, this week after moving to a new location, I have spent hours re-organizing my paper files, labeling and sorting and putting them in an order that is easy for me to access. Next step is to list all the things I want to accomplish, prioritize, and then set up daily actions for those small, time-consuming tasks that I have been avoiding doing.

Thanks for the reminder to get my daily activities in order.

    Warmly,
    Dr. Erica

    • says

Hello Dr Erica, I love this, you got a great game plan going there my friend! Taking the time to sit down a writng things out has been very helpful for me, this is great advice.. Thank You for sharing here on my blog.. I do appreciate your comment and visit.. Chery :))

  17. says

This is the real nuts and bolts of what it takes to run any online business, Chery.

Doesn’t matter if it’s in network marketing, blogging, internet marketing… Working online, you are a solo entrepreneur. As such, you must get a grip on your daily method of operation, and make it happen. Everybody complains about overwhelm. That’s really just another way of saying they have no DMO, and if they do, they’re not sticking to it.

You’ve shown how to do it, but each of us must make that happen ourselves. Thanks, Chery.

    • says

Hello David, You are right we can offer you the solution but at the end of the day it is all up to you and you alone to take action HUH? Thanks for the Awesome Comment.. Chery :))

  18. says

Great Advice. I have use the David Bird system for some time and that is all about planning for tomorrow tonight, for next week by Sunday and next month before the end of this month. Making sure you have your personal time and workout time as part of your plan.

    Thanks for Sharing

    Andy

  19. says

Very good advice Chery! I don’t spend much time on social media anymore, or checking my emails, but I do spend too much time on some of my other business activities. I sat down one day a year ago, and wrote out all my tasks (daily, weekly and monthly) and put them into “Remember the Milk”. I stuck to them for a few months and was more productive. Then, I changed my business model, and haven’t got round to changing my tasks in Remember the milk. I really should though, because I love being organized and work much more productively when I am organized. Thanks for the inspiration Chery, I’m going to revise those activities and stick to them each day!

    • says

Hello Julieanne, I for one cannot get away from social media LOL But I do use this time wisely while there, I post and connect and try not to get caught into all the hype and BS that is everywhere.. As for e-mail, well I do feel the need to get this done a few times a day but it ti part of my DMO!

I think sitting down and writing out all our tasks is an Awesome idea, and should be done, this way we know what we need to do and therefore can plan to getter done HUH??

Thanks for the Awesome comment my friend, always so nice to see you here.. Chery :))

    • says

Hello Sarupa, I have always been big on exercising and not sure as to why but this past winter I fell out of this habit for some reason.. ( I am thinking I thought I needed to sepnd more time sitting right here) Anyways Yes I do believe that exercise of some sort is necessary everyday Like I said Exercise will help to keep you focused and will make you feel better about yourself and you will also have more energy.

Of course this is only my opinion.. LOL Thanks for adding to the conversation today.. Chery :))

  20. says

Chery, Nice article! There are many ways to keep yourself motivated and moving in business you have to find the thing that feeds your mojo and keeps you in the zone long term :)

    • says

Hello Micheal, I do agree we all need to find the thing that feeds ou MOJO LOL I have not heard that word in a long time Great way to put it.. Thanks for the great comment and as always the visit.. Chery :))

  21. says

    Hi Chery,

I had to smile at your phrase ‘once you hit the bottom the only way to go is up’ – saw your article in the Kingged community and just had to comment. :-)

“Discomfort zone?”….Hmmm sounds charming, not! Yet, I understand perfectly what you’re saying and think that it’s spot on.

You’re right when you say that each of us needs to have a daily method of operation.

Love, love, love that you say “a business is not a feeling” <— could NOT agree more with this statement! It’s so true!

Yep, social media surfing is the cause for many so called Online Entrepreneurs from reaching their goals. I suppose they are chasing vanity statistics.

Have you ever used Rescue Time? It’s a software that you download to your computer, and it monitors how much time you spend on the web, and what sites you’re spending time on and provides a weekly report. VERY REVEALING for me, and that’s when I changed everything. It’s free too. :)

I agree that accountability is key. Thanks for the thought-inspiring content!

    – Carol Amato

    • says

Hello Carol! This Rescue Time sounds like an awesome tool and one that can help use become accountable for our actions .. Wooo Hooo And Its Free!! Now It doesn’t get better than this, I am off to check it out.. Thanks for sharing.. Chery :))

  22. says

What a great response you’ve had here, Chery.
I may start with good intentions of working out where I spend my time and how much, and setting out timetables but I then don’t stick to them. I think I’ve always rebelled against routine which is why a 9-5 job never suited me. I spend more time than I need to online but I enjoy it. If I have a task that has to get done by a certain time it gets done. Saying that I’m now thankfully picking up more clients for my SEO and WordPress services so I don’t have a choice except to become more focused.

    • says

Hello Sue, I am so happy for you my friend, I m thinking you are more focused than you think that you are.. LOL Keep up the great work and Thanks for adding to the conversation here today.. Chery :))

  23. Marty Diamond says

You’re the second person today that’s talked about using time more efficiently – and I think you’re absolutely right. The only thing I’d add to your daily method of operation is to be sure to schedule breaks for yourself during the day. Staying on the computer 4-8 hours at a stretch is hard on your body and your mind. So be sure to get up and walk around, stretch, smell the roses – for 5-10 minutes at the end of each hour

    • says

Hello Marty, Thank you for adding this suggestion, it is so true, I actually have a timer and it goes off every hour then I get up and just do something stretch, get a drink, get some air, yeppers 10 miuntes and it is back to work.. Love this Thanks again Chery :))

  24. says

Consistency and Awareness, in how we spend our time, are BOTH very important. Writing it down is tough, because it’s easy to go through a whole day and forget what we did three hours ago. Sticking with the habit of writing it down, is necessary at least until we are always aware of what we are doing. And the only way we’ll ever be consistent is to have a DMO and stick to it.

    • says

Hello Willena, You are so right my friend, once I started actually taking the time each morning and planning my day out on paper, my days started to get more productive. Now that I am inthe habit I doubt I will ever give it up.. Thanks for the wonderful comment, always nice to see you here.. Chery :))

  25. says

    Hello Cherry,

I think I am going to be sincere with the number of times I log in into my Facebook account. It is simply countless. Several times before the day closes but the most important is that I am going to be sincere with myself from now on wards and check that bad habit of mine.

Once daily habit obviously forms his character. Thanks for this insight and do have a great week.
    I found this on kingged.com!

    • says

Hello Emmanuel, It is not a bad thing to log into FaceBook numerous times a day as long as you are doing something productive while there such as posting and or engaing with others.. Of course you can waste a lot of time if you are just there playing around, just take note of what you are actually doing OK Thanks for adding to the conversation here today, I do appreciate it.. Chery :))

  26. says

Chery, You have made some excellent suggestions on how to be successful in our business by having a plan to follow every day to accomplish your goals. I like that you included exercise in this daily method of operation because exercise along with eating nutrient dense foods will make all the difference in your energy level and ability to stay focused. Thanks for all the good tips!

    • says

Hello Shelley, Yes I do think it is also important to watch what you eat as well as exercise, taking care of YOU first is OH SO Important HUH? Thanks for adding to the conversation here today I do appreciate you.. Chery :))

  27. says

You have made some great points here Chery. A daily plan is essential. I personally follow most of your advice and it does work. Getting rid of interruptions can be a hassle, but I don’t answer the phone or the door whilst I am focused on my work. I walk most mornings before dawn. It clears my head. Frequent breaks during the day are also beneficial. They don’t have to be long breaks – just as long as you move and get the blood flowing.
    Thanks for a terrific article.
    Liz

    • says

Hello Liz, I love that you have your plan together my friend! This is the best course of action to take to become Successful.. Starting your day with a walk is an Awesome Idea one I should really incorporate into my schedule.. Thanks for your comment and visit I do appreciate it.. Chery :))

  28. says

    Hi Chery!
Great post! Too many home business do not have a daily method of operation. I love that you included exercise and mindset training. I also exercise daily as it helps much more than just the physical. I do my best thinking while exercising and it’s sets me up for a more productive day!
Have a wonderful and successful week!
